General Assignment Reporter

The Sterling Journal-Advocate is now taking applications for general assignment reporter. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of a journalism or English program, be familiar with the AP Style Book and comfortable using a digital camera. Our reporters are expected to do features or spot news, whatever is necessary. Ideally, the candidate would have an interest in cops and courts reporting. The Sterling Journal-Advocate is a six-day publication, publishing five afternoon editions and Saturday morning. 
Sterling is in northeast Colorado, about 125 miles northeast of Denver and about 60 miles southwest of Nebraska.
