The Colorado Press Association is seeking nominations for its Board of Directors.
Interested candidates should submit a formal letter of interest, outlining industry experience, reasons for wanting to join the Board, and what strengths would be added by their addition. Letters need to be emailed to CEO Jerry Raehal at email@example.com by 5 p.m. Feb. 16.
One seat is open and uncontested. It is being vacated by Bart Smith, who is leaving the board after finishing his term as Past President.
Director seats for Becky Justice Hemmann of the Berthoud Weekly Surveyor and Jennifer Hefty of the Coloradoan are both up for reelection, and Hemmann and Hefty have both stated they seek to stay on the board.
The Nomination Committee — made up of the five most recent Past Presidents — review nominations, and provide recommendations to the General Membership.
