The 2025 Better News Media Contest is open from January 1 — March 31, 2026. Early Bird rates end after February 28.
The contest is open to current news media members of the Colorado Press Association, including daily, weekly, monthly and online-only publications. Entries are submitted by newsrooms, not individuals. See the 2025 Contest Guidebook for rules and other contest details.
Awards will be announced at the Local News Solutions 2026, August 27-29, 2026.
